Tiny Kube privacy policy

Tiny Kube does not collect personal data that identifies you. There is no account, no analytics and no advertising inside the app, and your cube never leaves the phone.

What the app stores

The state of your cube and your settings, kept on the phone itself. Nothing is uploaded, and deleting the app deletes it.

What the app does not do

• No sign-up, no login, no email address.
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
• No analytics or behavioural tracking inside the app.
• No location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone access.
• Nothing sold, and nothing shared for advertising or for anybody else's own use.

The connections it makes

When the phone is online, Tiny Kube checks whether a newer version of the app has been published, using Expo's update service. That check sends technical details only: the app version, the platform, and a random installation identifier generated by the update library. It carries nothing about you and nothing about your cube. With no connection, the app works exactly as it does with one.

Tiny Kube Pro

The 2x2 and the 3x3 are free. Tiny Kube Pro, an optional subscription, unlocks the 4x4 to the 7x7. If you subscribe, the purchase is made and paid for through the App Store or Google Play, and so is any free trial that comes with it. Your payment details stay with Apple or Google; we never see them.

To know whether Pro is active on your phone, and to restore it on a new one, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives the purchase history of the subscription (which plan, when it was bought, renewed or cancelled, the store's receipt, the country and currency of the price) together with a random identifier the app makes for it. That identifier is not linked to your name, email address or Apple or Google account, and it is not used for advertising or tracking. Nothing about your cube goes with it. RevenueCat handles it under its own privacy policy. If you never subscribe, RevenueCat sees only that random identifier asking which plans are on offer, with no purchases attached.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects nothing that identifies anybody, children included.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the previous versions stay in the published history of this site.
