Tiny Chess Master support

Tiny Chess Master is made by one person, and support emails are answered by that same person, usually within a day or two.

It helps enormously if you include your phone model, its Android or iOS version, what you were playing (the coach, a bot, a lesson, a puzzle), and what you expected to happen.

A piece will not move
Drag it rather than tapping twice, and let go on the square you want. Only legal moves land: if the piece will not go, the move would leave your king in check, or the piece cannot reach that square. Tap the Chess Master and he will name a move that does work.
The opponent is too strong, or too easy
Play Coach is adaptive by default: he goes a step up the ladder when you win and a step down when you lose. You can also pick a fixed strength on that screen, or choose a bot under Play Bots. Up to 1000 is free; Pro takes the Chess Master and the bots up to 1800.
A lesson will not let me continue
Most steps ask for something: visiting every star, or playing one particular move. Tap the Chess Master and he shows what the step wants, including the way to the nearest star.
Where did my games and ratings go?
They live on your phone, not on a server, and app updates keep them. Deleting the app deletes them, and there is no account to sign in to and restore from.
I would rather see the board flat
Top View, on the bar under the board, lays the board out from above. Default puts you back in the room with the table. The app remembers which you chose.
I lost a game I was in the middle of
You did not: an unfinished game waits on the menu, under Continue your game. Starting a new one against the same opponent replaces it.
I moved too fast and want it back
The arrow at the bottom right takes the move back, yours and the reply. On the free app that is once a game; with Pro it is as often as you like.
How do I turn his voice off?
The speaker in the top right of the board turns the Chess Master’s voice off and on, and it stays as you left it.
Two of us want to play on one phone
Two Players, from the menu, part of Pro. The camera turns to face whoever is to move, and the coach sits that game out.
I have Pro, but things are still locked
Open anything with a padlock to reach the subscription screen, and tap Restore purchases. Make sure the phone is signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with, and that it is online for that moment.
How do I cancel Pro?
On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open the Google Play app, then Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
