Young puppies pee often: about every 30 to 60 minutes while awake at 8 weeks, every hour or so at 10 weeks, and every 1 to 2 hours at 3 months, plus after waking, eating, drinking and play. A sudden increase, straining or blood is worth a call to your vet.
Short answer: a lot. Puppies have small bladders and little control until they are several months old, so how often they pee depends mostly on their age and on what just happened. Here is what is normal at each stage.

How often puppies poop

When how often is worth a vet call
The exact number matters less than a change. If your puppy suddenly seems to pee all the time, read why a puppy pees so much. Call your vet if you see:
- Peeing much more often than usual, or tiny amounts again and again.
- Straining, crying, or blood in pee or poo.
- Accidents starting again in a puppy who was reliable. Frequent accidents can be a sign of a urinary infection.
- Diarrhoea that lasts more than a day, or any poo with blood.

Every puppy is a little different, so the most useful number is your own. Log every pee and poo for a few days and the pattern appears: how many times a day, how long between breaks, and the times she reliably goes.
